Hello! These are my public versioned playlists! This is a super experimental project inspired by my discovery of Exportify and this ideas thread on Mastodon. I am working on getting rid of my Spotify subscription. The "stop paying Spotify" effort may slow this project done. Alternatively, it's possible that this project makes me want to stick with Spotify. 🙃

Separate playlist management from streaming music

I'd prefer to use this git repo as the canonical source for playlists which are then synced to various music services. I don't yet know if that would be more trouble than it's worth. A pull approach would be convenient so I can update playlists from my music player.

✨ TuneMyMusic might make this worthwhile. I have until January 2027 to figure it out.

Playlist management

Submit and store playlists, or generate playlists locally using ListenBrainz data

listenbrainz-playlist-uploader, a CLI tool for submitting local M3U playlists to ListenBrainz, as well as submitting feedback on tracks

ListenBrainz tools (Infinity-Tools-SMP), a Foobar2000 plugin for submitting and retrieving playlists from ListenBrainz (+ Spotify). Can retrieve recommendations, submit tracks feedback (love and hate) and batch upload Pano Scrobbler listens.

Playlist-Manager-SMP, a Foobar2000 plugin for syncing local playlists with ListenBrainz (+ Spotify). Provides tracking for playlists changes and resolves tracks with local content and YouTube links.
