When you search for media, you can add an item to your library using the "Save to library" button.

When you do this, you save a copy of the data from the search results:

• Title
• Year of release/publication
• Author (for books)
• Poster/cover image

All of this data is editable by you and applies to the copy in your library. Media Lib will keep track of the original item you saved, so in the future you will see that item as "Already saved in library" in the search results.
