I've been using the web one; it might make more sense to use something different.

I have irssi on my MacBook and it's easy to install on one of my Pi's - that plus a window manager and mosh could make a better permanent landing page. Or perhaps there's a MacOS client for IRC that's reasonably modern.

Use: for social.lol, for the tildeverse, and for monkey.org.

The provided instructions error out with a SASL problem, so follow the Libera.chat IRSSI docs at https://libera.chat/guides/irssi to force SASL authentication. (there should be a way to save all that in a startup file so I don't have to rewrite it).

I use IRC a little, realizing that I have learned and unlearned bits of it over and over again. very handy system to have when it works!
